This is a growing database of resources for book designers from tips on running a freelance business, finding a great printer, referring authors to marketing services and finding amazing fonts and stock imagery.
The Book Design Collective has a Slack workspace and meets up regularly. During our discussions, I take note of resources that our members mention and add them to this database. Anything else I come across during my day to day as a book designer, gets added too if I think it will be helpful for our group! Feel free to reach out with anything you think would be useful for your fellow book designers.

This database is our master list of all resources. You can use search bar to find specific items based on keywords, or use the quick links across the top of the database to access different views of the main database.
Many of these resources are online, but where possible, we’ve indicated where they are located. This may be of particular interest for printers. We have tagged major cities, provinces/states and countries so that if you want a printer in Canada you can click on Canada, but if you need a printer specifically in Ontario you can then click on Ontario or even Toronto. This is why some resources have multiple location tags.
